1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

I never knew Paul Harvey said all those things when he was younger. I thought it was very interesting when he explained how church goers think through survays that were taken, especially when he said that 90% of the kids leave after high school.The best statement he made was when he said that he believes we are living in the closing moments of the Church Age. So do I. Any moment now.

Bob D, when he mentioned how many kids leave the church and paused for a long moment, I believe he was fighting back tears. His voice had that almost about to cry sound to it. Bless his heart, I think that he may be feeling the grief of the Holy Spirit.

I think you are right.

When I talk to someone I can tell if they have a heart for the Lord or just simply don't care.

Everything he said is the norm of society.For the most part he said people really don't care but some people do care but they are just confused.

Of course I respect the latter as opposed to not even caring.

The latter has described my life so many times. I can not tell you how many times I told the Lord that I do care but I'm just confused. The response of Jesus Christ has varied because God is God and I am not.

There have been times when God impressed on my heart that He understood and other times something to the order of ,"I don't see why."He knows why but you know what I mean.

When 90% of the kids just walk away most are saying they don't want to get to know the Lord in a personal way. They just walk right into the world.

I know some kids that are in their twenties now who went to Christian school and get very defensive when the Bible or Jesus Christ is spoken of in discussion.

Jesus Christ will give them what they want but they probably won't like what they get on the other side.

I just pray that I can convince some both young and old to come back to the Lord but in the end they do get the final choice. They need to make up their mind fast because like the man said, we are living in the final moments of the Church Age.
