I’m curious what everyone’s thoughts or opinions are on this. Personally, I’m ready for Israel to knock Iran’s block off. I wish they would do it today. That seems like one more big indication that the Rapture is about to happen… noting, of course, that that or any other event doesn’t have to happen first for the Rapture to happen.

But then I started thinking, what if we were raptured tomorrow? How would the Iran/Israel conflict play out then?

My opinion is, if Israel bombed Iran back to the stone-age, with respect to Iran’s nuclear development program, that would cool things off for a while. But if the rapture happened before Israel attacked, the US support for Israel would be gone immediately without the Christian backing, and Israel would back down, thus allowing Iran’s development to continue. With no Christian support anywhere in the world for Israel, Israel is suddenly without any allies. And that sounds to me exactly like the events described in Revelation, with ALL nations rising up against Israel. “ALL” means the U.S. too.

So to conclude, considering how close I think Israel is to bombing Iran, we could be even closer than that to being raptured! I sure hope so! MARANATHA!

Hi Brady, I think it's important to understand something in order to understand the answer to your question. The powers that be are completely in agreement with the enemy and are totally anticipating the taking away of Christ's followers. They have planned in detail the very hour that the Gog/Magog invasion takes place. They know exactly what the global condition will look like. They are buying time until their time is right, and I believe that's when a global blackout occurs (read David Daughtery's vision of 1996, I am convinced that this is how it goes). Whatever the case, I don't believe the rest of the world will be aware of what is happening, because while everyone else is scrambling for survival, they will be invading Israel, and Jesus takes us out of the way because it's about to get real ugly.

In summary, us Christians stand on the right side of the equation, but the other side sees the same thing we do. They see a rapture, they see global chaos, they see all of it. The only difference is they believe the lie that satan is the victor, and us Christians are going to end up losing. I recommend you read that vision I suggested (just google it), and pay attention to tribulation-now.org and his podcast. I believe he's spot on with the inner-workings of what's leading us towards the rapture. I hope that helps!
