1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

God is Dead theologian William Hamilton dead at 87

Theologian William Hamilton, a member of the Death of God movement of the 1960s that reached its peak with a Time Magazine cover story, has died in Portland, Ore. He was 87.

His family says Hamilton died Tuesday of complications from congestive heart failure.

Hamilton told The Oregonian newspaper in 2007 that he had questioned the existence of God since he was a teenager. He said two friends died from the explosion of a pipe bomb they were building, while a third - an atheist - escaped without a scratch.

He was teaching theology at Colgate-Rochester Divinity School in Rochester, N.Y., in 1966 when he co-authored the book, "Radical Theology and the Death of God."

Fortunately, I don't remember that movement, but then I was born in 1961, so I was just a child back then.

Well he doesn't have to question the exhistance of God any longer!!! God is Alive, and well...What a shock that must of been for him to find that out first hand. Only a fool, prophesing himself to be wise, would say, there is no God!!!!

I Hope he changed his mind and quickly accepted the Living Lord,as His Savior; if not I hate to imagine the alternative!!!!

He's Alive!!! He Lives!!! Forevermore!!!!

Valerie and Kathy, can you imagine how many people that he took below with him with his false teaching? I am sure they will be looking for him to arrive so they can thank him for the free trip to torment. Very sad, and what a waste of a life.

I love the way Gaither Gospel Singer--David Phelps sings & performs this song. He puts himself into the role of Simon Peter, when he sings it.

I also wonder where The Monkees' Davy Jones' soul is too. I surely hope that he accepted Christ way before he suffered that deadly heart attack.
