1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing .
I have had the same experience recently! I thought I was just hearing things or that my asthma medication is starting to affect me more than it should 
.. but YES SisterNChrist, I have experienced the same! I think next time, I might actually have some food ready, and run to the front door! Hey, you'll never know!

Chris, Kalan & I must be on pins 'n' needles...anxiously waiting for our beloved Bridegroom to come for us. B/c first that rosy smell, and now the knocks...makes us wonder what'll happen next.
Hopefully 'n' prayerfully, we'll ALL hear the trump of the archangel next, calling us to--"Come up hither!"

Tammy I have heard this as well! Except it was more a knocking... in my head. Maybe I took some of Kalan's asthma medicine and didnt know it , but it was loud and forceful and only has happened 2 or 3 times and recently, Fall of 2011 and on.
No one knows the day or hour, but we were told we would know the season. 1 Thessalonians 5:3-4,
"For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief."
Chris, the signs we were commanded to watch for by JEsus are all reaching a breaking point. The war and rumors of wars in the Middle East directly involving Israel is at a stage now where I think the trigger is pulled in a matter of weeks and months. Iran just announced yesterday that they will have weapons-grade uranium in 6 weeks (personally I think they have it already, but want Israel to look like the aggressor, so they wait)
The earthquakes from 2011 alone being in diverse places was insane, all 3 corners of the Pacific Rim were hit recently with devestating EQ's(2010 - 2011)
We know that we are the fig tree generation, Israel being reborn as a nation was a miracle, and also a key timepiece in prophecy. Jesus told us that the generation that witnessed Israel coming back onto the world scene would not pass away until ALL things are fulfilled, Tribulation period included (Matt. 24:32-34)
