It is doubtful that this is the final "mark of the beast" since the actual mark does not become mandatory until the middle point of the tribulation. However I do think that this is a defining moment for Americans to either stand up and refuse it or accept the mandate according to HR 3200.
Interestingly this date in 2013 is significant in Jewish tradition. It is the anniversary of the War of Egyptian Firstborn (1313 BCE). Below is a description.

War of the Egyptian Firstborn (1313 BCE)
In a communication to Moses on the 1st of Nissan -- two weeks before the Exodus -- G-d instructed the Children of Israel that "On the tenth of this month, every man shall take a lamb for his family, one lamb for each household... It should be held in safekeeping until the 14th of this month; the entire community of Israel shall then slaughter their sacrifices in the afternoon. They shall take the blood and place it on the two doorposts and on the lintel... They shall eat the meat that night, roasted over fire, with matzahs and bitter herbs..." (this was the first Seder, held on the night the Jews left Egypt). "I will pass through Egypt on that night, and I will kill every firstborn in Egypt, man and beast... The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are staying; I will see the blood and pass over you -- there will not be any deadly plague among you when I strike the land of Egypt." (Exodus 12:3-13)

The Talmud relates what happened when 600,000 Jewish heads of household began rounding up their lambs on the 10th of Nissan. The lamb was worshipped as a deity in ancient Egypt, so this caused quite a commotion. The firstborn of Egypt, who held the key social and religious positions in Egyptian society, confronted the Jews, and were told: "We are preparing an offering to G-d. In four days, at the stroke of midnight, G-d will pass through Egypt in order to execute the tenth and final plague; all firstborn will die, and the people of Israel nation will be freed."

The firstborn, having already witnessed the first nine plagues occur exactly as Moses had warned, approached Pharaoh and his generals and demanded that the Jews be freed immediately. When Pharaoh refused, the firstborn took up arms against Pharaoh's troops, killing many of them. This event is alluded to by the Psalmist, who sings: "[Offer thanks to G-d,] who smote the Egyptians with their first born” (Psalms 136:10)

Although the date of this occurence was Nissan 10, the event is commemorated not on this date but rather on the Shabbat before Passover (in the year of the Exodus, Nissan 10 was a Shabbat), which is therefore referred to as Shabbat HaGadol, "The Great Shabbat." (This is one of the rare instances in which a commemorative date in the Jewish calendar is set by the day of the week rather than the day of the month.)


An amazing parallel I see in this is that on the tenth of Nissan before the Exodus, there was a separation of those who chose to be marked by God by placing lambs blood above their doors and those who chose the mark of death by not. This I believe is paralleled by the "separation" of who will accept the healthcare chip and who will not. I believe this is also a sign of the coming "anti-christ mark".

GREAT parallel comparison D. Shadow! I had posted this same link (RFID by March, 2013) in my thread "His "ARROGANCY" is ALREADY setting up HIS KINGDOM." Although, this may not be the actual "Mark of the Beast"...I think it will certainly be the beginning. I would ALSO advise those who are LEFT BEHIND...NOT to take this chip, regardless!! I believe it will be the "beginning phase" of the Mark of the Beast...personally! It will be used to "track" EVERY citizen of the US...& later on, the WORLD! It will ALSO be used to "allow/deny" financial transactions! Therefore...I see it as the MARK OF THE BEAST...as described in Rev. 13!

Don't want anything to do with it. I'm surprised we are still here...

Infrastructure for this has been being put into place in the Healthcare system since at least 2007. I personally have managed implementation projects for the largest owner of Hospitals in the US (won't say who) in preparation for this system.

Once I realized what I was doing I left that position in late 2010.

Folks, this IS the mark of the Beast. It's an entire economic system in a Biometric ID. Bank Account, Medical Information, instant validated ID that cannot be faked or stolen, used for reduction of fraud in the governmental assistance programs and healthcare, will be used to deliver a new method of vaccination and a myriad of other uses. This will be the proposed answer to most of the World's problems and will come in conjunction with a new digital currency.

Phillip, in regard to the second link you posted on bone medicine release by chip, I heard a commercial on the radio about this type of medicine delivery yesterday. They were talking about the convenience and accuracy and peace of mind this type of method would give to everyone. Already they are selling the mindset and prepping people for this type of system.
Public relations plan is being rolled out for this.

Looking at just today's news
1. Pending war with Syria and Iran
2. The Pope appointing more cardinals to choose next pope- possible false prophet.
3. The prep for the chip/ID mark of the beast
4. Pending economic collapse that will force use of one world system via chip

I cannot really see the church here much longer. We must be hanging by a thread at this point. Rapture must be very near indeed.

I'd rather die than take the Mark or worship the beast.

I think we'll be long gone by then so none of us will have to make that d a m n a b l e choice.
