1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Pray for my family please... special request...

Hello

I have wonderful news. My husband who is Jewish has told me he is ready to be baptized. I am a member of a Pentecostal church and he has been going with me for a year and a half. At first he was somewhat resentful that I wanted to go to church but now he is just as enthusiastic as I am to go. He even played Isaiah in the Christmas play this year. This is all due to the love of Jesus and reslentless prayer and obedience.

As you all know this wonderful news is driving Satan mad. He has attacked my husband and my family in countless ways trying to stop us, trying to get us to lose faith, trying to turn us against each other at times. It has NOT worked but we need prayer. I would like you to pray for my husband David that he will be kept safe especially up until his baptism on Feb 5th. Please pray that satan will not succeed in his attacks against his mind or his body. These attacks are VERY REAL. Please pray for our marriage as well. We love each other it seems satan does every vile thing to create waves especially as we grow closer to Jesus. PRay for our children as well their names are Lexi and Zac.

Thank you so much

Shannon,

Praise God!!! First I praise Him that your husband has decided to make his confession public and to join the church. I also pray that He will sustain your family through this trial. I pray this trial will not be divisive but will allow you as a family to get closer to each other and the Father. God's love and the love you share with one another will send the enemy fleeing. Keep the faith sister, Jesus is victorious. We are children of the King, no one messes with a King's kid for very long and wins.

God bless,

YBIC,

Mike

Excellent news Shannon! Rejoicing with you! I will pray for your family. Read Psalm 91 for encouragement. It always helps me when I feel under attack. God bless!

Thank you. I am hoping my husband will really be ready this time. The last time out church had a baptism he became uncertain at the last minute. I believe his biggest struggle is with guilt because his mother is Jewish. He probably feels very confused. He does believe though and I know one day, maybe feb 5th, he will be ready. I can only pray in the background... the decision has to come from him but I am excited .
