1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

Volcanos: Do you notice that more are activivating?

While watching the FoxNews Channel, I've noticed that more 'n' more volcanos the world over, are becoming more active. Especially the ones that have been dormant for what seems to be 1000s of years.

Looks like our world is convulsing more 'n' more. So, what say you, re: these volcanos' reactivating???

Tammy, just this past week, I have seen articles about a dangerous volcano awakening near London, another in Germany and of course there is Mt. Cleveland in our own Alaska that has recently awakened. Add to this the dangerous trio of volcanos in Iceland, several in Indonesia and the Phillipines and Hawaii. I also read about one in Russia that is causing concern.

It hit me one day when I was watching one of those National Geographic shows on volcanos that the red liquid rock (magma) pouring out them looked like rivers of fire, reminding me of what the Bible calls the lake of fire in hades. I wondered then if these fiery mountain openings were gates to hell? After reading Mary Katherine Baxter's book on hell being a real place and Bill Wiese's (23 Minutes In Hell), It seems very likely that these rivers of fire from the volcanos are hell spilling over on the earth. It would seem plausible that as we near the end of the age with the cumulative weight of sin that has collected on earth since the flood, that we would see the netherregions pouring out literally on the earth.

There is also a scripture (don't remember the location right now) about hell enlarging itself. Could these eruptions be the effects of that enlarging movement? Really makes me feel a great sense of relief that Jesus took this punishment for us. If anyone is reading this post who had not accepted Jesus' offer of salvation, and you are undecided, don't wait any longer. In Ephesians, it says that salvation is a gift of God, not of works. Accept the gift and come into the safety God has provided for us with Jesus' death, burial and resurrection from the dead.

Just saw an article about an alert on 7 Volcanos in Indonesia that are about to blow. One is the dreaded Anak Krakatoa.

Thank YOU, T/Sue!!! I just knew that a volcano recently became active some where in Italy, but I wasn't sure where. B/c that was the latest NEWS FLASH!!! I saw either verbally mentioned by a FoxNews reporter/or via their Ticker Tape that scrolls across the bottom of the TV screen.
