Could today's selenehelion (impossible lunar eclipse) possibly have fulfilled Joel 2:31??

Joel 2:31 states
"The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the
LORD."

Now this might be a stretch but it just occurred to me and so I was wondering if it had to anyone else here.

Today's eclipse was very rare in that it was considered a selenehelion which is where the sun is visible briefly on one horizon and the lunar eclipse occurs on the other horizon and both are visible at the same time.

What has happened here is that while one was watching the sun go down on one horizon, or watching it "turned to darkness" the moon was being totally eclipsed or made into a "BLOOD MOON".

Just a thought that occurred to me. I have always thought of this verse as meaning that the sun would be eclipsed too, but how could that both happen at the same time? Unless God alters the rotations and orbits of the planets or the Earth, and that is possible because with Him all things are. But this was just a thought.

Opinions?? Thoughts??

John, I pray that is the fulfillment, that means we are so close to the Rapture I can almost hear that shofar blast!

As to the sun being dark and the moon being blood red at the same time, the only thing I can think of apart from God's supernatural manipulation, would be a third party planet/moon coming into play.

With the countless dreams this year by Believers and non-Believers alike, the whole Planet X / Nibiru thing seems to make a lot more sense. It is my opinion that this planet entity makes a sudden and catastrophic appearance during the Great Tribulation and may be an instrument of God to carry out some of the trumpet judgements and bowls of wrath (comets, wormwood, locucts from the "pit" when it crashes into Earth, etc...)

Either way it doesn't matter to the Bride, cus WE ARE OUTTA HERE! Glory to God that He would send His Son to spare us from this terrible time that is soon to befall everyone left-behind.
