1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Hannukah 2011 and the Mayan calendar

"Fair Use for Information & Discussion Purposes"

A while back I read a post on this site about Dec. 20-21, 2011 and how it relates to a possible rapture date. (High alert watch date). I am unable to relocate the post but would like to add a few discoveries of my own about 12.21.11.
I of course am not setting a date for rapture or any other prophetic or significant event in the world but do definitely find significance in this date.
First I would like to bring up the mayan date of 12.21.12 and a new related article that I will post below. Documentaries from the 60's and 70's that discuss the mayan prophecy always use the date of 12.21.11 or 12.24.11 instead of 2012 as the mayans counted the year 0 as a year which we in modern society do not count a year 0. Due to this the calculation has to be moved up a year to 2011. Also this year and in history there are some significant events related to this day. These are as follows:
December 21, 2011
1. The first day of Hannukah (on the Hebrew calendar Hannukah begins at sundown on the 20th)
I have seen a couple studies that relate the Hannukah festival to rapture and harvest
2. On 11.11.11 the satanic ritual involving the mayan crystal skulls was performed in Los Angeles. 40 days later is 12.21.11. We all know the biblical significance of the number 40.
3. Dec. 21, 2011 is the last day of the autumnal equinox (fall harvest) and the following day (12.22.11) begins the winter solstice.
4. If you look at the 8 days of Hannukah as a menorah, the center day falls on December 24 (Christmas eve) which also happens to be the new moon.
From my studies, Christmas is the date that Christ was conceived, and he was born 9 months later on Sukkot (Tabernacles)
I would also reference the Hallel Psalms (psalms 111-118) which is the picture of a menorah and a timeline for the 7 year tribulation.
5. On the day before (12.20.11)(Kislev 24) the construction of the second temple resumes in 520 BCE
6. On 12.21.11 is the anniversary of when Cain killed Abel in 3720 BCE
7. It is (2) 7 day cycles from the illuminati countdown of Dec 7, 2011.

Not sure if there is any significance to this but the fact it days are divisible by 7.......I thought it was worth mentioning.
These are the only events that I have come up with yet. If you can think of anything else let me know. Also what are your thoughts on the above info.

P.S.......According to these videos, the mayan calendar ends on Dec. 24, 2011. This is also significant since that is the center of the menorah mentioned above and the day before Christ was conceived.

It's 2011!..not 2012 (according to Nimoy and Serling)

Re: Hannukah 2011 and the Mayan calendar

According these videos from Jack Van Impe the Mayan Calendar ends December 21, 2012! Therefore we will be Raptured between now and then, is what I believe!
I respect Dr. Van Impe & have watched him for years!

I watched the first two videos, when I get a chance I would like to watch the rest!
