1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Do not quit! Keep Going!

Do not quite! Keep Going!

The steeper and more difficult the climb becomes, the closer
you are to the summit. The more you feel like quitting, the more there
is to be gained by continuing to persist.

When it seems you cannot go on any more, that means you're
getting closer and closer. Find a way to keep going and soon you'll make
it all the way there. With every difficulty that arises, the eventual
accomplishment becomes that much more fulfilling. The more effort and
sacrifice that's demanded of you, the more value you are creating.

What a shame it would be to turn back when the goal is almost
within sight. For the sake of all your previous efforts, keep going and
make those efforts count for something truly great.

Every bit of weariness you feel is proof that you've already
made much progress. What a blessing it is that you have what it takes to
keep moving steadily forward.Keep going, especially now, for just over
the next horizon is where you were meant to be.

Re: Do not quit! Keep Going!

This is very encouraging, because many of us know just how it feels!!!

Do not quit, watching for the coming of our Lord and Savior, Keep going, and keep your eyes on Him!

Remember what Jesus said, that it wouldn't be easy to follow Him, but it would be worthy it!

You'll have an extra Crown, to lay at His feet for watching!!!

Look UP, Our redemption draws nigh!!! Our corruptible bodies will be changed in a twinkle of an eye, to the likeness of the Lord's body!!!

God Bless You one and all!

Maranatha!

Re: Do not quite! Keep Going!

I think you mean "quit," not "quite," Valerie. That's an easy typo to make, though, I know. [ g ]

I'm glad to see you're feeling better, Valerie!

Re: Do not quite! Keep Going!

LOL! The pastor made the typos, then! He should have copyedited his article before he posted it online.

I'm glad you are feeling somewhat better. I hope the pain in your legs is gone now.
