1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing .
In the mornings, I usually unplug my computer from the power
source and take it downstairs with me to make coffee. While
the coffee is brewing, I will check on things on the computer
which has about an hour of charge before needing to be plugged
back in.
So, after posting this, I came back upstairs to re-plug in my
computer (which had run low) and to read my One Year Bible,
and I just randomly opened it up and it came to this scripture
(the One Year Bible is in NIV 1998):
...Proverbs 25 (NIV 1984)
...11 A word aptly spoken
...is like apples of gold in settings of silver.
...12 Like an earring of gold or an ornament of fine gold
...is a wise man’s rebuke to a listening ear.
...13 Like the coolness of snow at harvest time
...is a trustworthy messenger to those who send him;
...he refreshes the spirit of his masters.
Earlier (perhaps yesterday when I saw the first 3.4 from Mount
Rainier), it reminded me of the "rumblings" that had taken place on
the "THIRD DAY" when the Lord "SPOKE" from Mount Sinai!!!
...Exodus 19 (KJV)
...10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and
...sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash
...their clothes,
...11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day
...the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people
...upon mount Sinai.

...18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the
...LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof
...ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and THE WHOLE MOUNT
...QUAKED GREATLY.
...19 AND WHEN THE VOICE OF THE TRUMPET SOUNDED
...LONG, and .waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God
...answered him by a voice.
But I also remembered the "SNOW" on Mount Rainier would be
there ALL YEAR, EVEN IN SUMMER:

I believe these warnings are VERY, VERY REAL!!!!!
