Something VERY interesting occurred this morning!

First of all, my mother and I BOTH had cavities come out in the
last 2 days and were headed over to have them repaired this
morning. As we were going, I was telling her about the FACT
that Israel stayed in booths (Old Testament days) during the
Feast of Tabernacles (time of the full moon) and they traveled
to Jerusalem to celebrate. I also mentioned that they must have
had great weather because where we live is great weather now and
it is about the same latitude as Israel.

AND...

I told her about a short conversation I had with a farmer in the
last few days.

When I asked him if he was through harvesting, he told me "Yes"
and he hoped that it would rain for 3 solid months (or just all
winter) once they get their land broken up. He, then, told me
they REALLY had missed a lot of the winter rains.

So, I asked him if this was related to the "belt" running all
the way from the severe drought in Texas and he said that it was.

SOOO....

What is interesting about this is, Tabernacles was the Feast
where the Jews prayed for rain for the following year's crops.

Then, I told my mother that, if nations did NOT celebrate the
Feast of Tabernacles during the Millennium, that they would NOT
receive rain.

About that time, a truck passed us with a HUGE number "14" on
the window behind where the driver sits. This, most likely, is
a football number of his son or relative (???).

But, I find it MOST INTERESTING that "14" means "DELIVERANCE"
and the part (in the Bible) which mentions about nations NOT
RECIEVING RAIN (during the Millennium) if they DO NOT KEEP
the Feast of Tabernacles is located in Zechariah "14"!!!!!

...Zechariah 14 (NIV 1984)
...16 Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked
...Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the
...LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.
...17 If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem
...to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain.
...18 If the Egyptian people do not go up and take THEY WILL HAVE
...NO RAIN. The LORD will bring on them the plague he inflicts
...on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of
...Tabernacles. 19 This will be the punishment of Egypt and the
...punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate
...the Feast of Tabernacles.
