1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The purposes of God be fulfilled- Amen

There are different understandings of what to call the last 7 years. This I know for sure, is that God wants the Jewish people to have their hearts turned back to Himself and He wants His saints kept washed in the sacrifice of Christ and not to fall away in unbelief or fall in acceptance of antiChrist.
I asked the Lord to help me understand and of all things, felt He wanted me to read Psalm 85. Psalm 85, what does that have to do with the final 7 years?
Highlighting is my emphasis. Please read and maybe it will help understanding of what is happening VERY SOON

Psalm 85

1 LORD, You have been favorable to Your land;
You have brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2 You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people;
You have covered all their sin. Selah
3 You have taken away all Your wrath;
You have turned from the fierceness of Your anger.

4 Restore us, O God of our salvation,
And cause Your anger toward us to cease.
5 Will You be angry with us forever?
Will You prolong Your anger to all generations?
6 Will You not revive us again,
That Your people may rejoice in You?
7 Show us Your mercy, LORD,
And grant us Your salvation.

8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak,
For He will speak peace
To His people and to His saints;
But let them not turn back to folly.
9 Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him,
That glory may dwell in our land.

10 Mercy and truth have met together;
Righteousness and peace have kissed.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth,
And righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 Yes, the LORD will give what is good;
And our land will yield its increase.
13 Righteousness will go before Him,
And shall make His footsteps our pathway.

IMHO:
God's purpose is to once more have His glory fill Israel and all the earth. The earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14; Numbers 14
There is no peace without righteousness. Under the rule of God, righteousness and peace kiss.

the Jewish people will know about the Rapture of saints and they will then believe Christ is real and follow in His footsteps, finally. Jeremiah 31:34
Truth shall spring out of the earth, the truth of the resurrection, IMO

In Numbers 14, where God was angry at secular Israel, the age of accountability was twenty. Those aged twenty years old and older who grumbled against God did not get to enter the promised land
