ALL:

Last night, I was opening and looking at a few different things
in my Bible and came across Psalm 24. This Psalm DEFINITELY
speaks about "requirements" for "ascending into the hill of the
LORD....standing in his holy place!!!" The Psalm has "10" total
verses (similar to the Days of Awe - the days of MAJOR repentance
and searching of the heart that run between Rosh Hashanah and
Yom Kippur) which END with:

...9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye
...everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
...10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is
...the King of glory. Selah.

Then, this morning in my One Year Bible reading, I happened to
notice the mentioning of the "ark of the covenant". When I did
a Biblegateway.com search of that phase - "ark of the covenant",
it SHOCKED me that it was only mentioned ONCE from 2 Chronicles
to Hebrews and here it is:

...Jeremiah 3:15-17

...15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart (IN MY
...OPINION, THESE ARE THE 144,000 "PASTORS" WHO COME AFTER THE
...RAPTURE TO MINISTER TO THOSE JEWS LEFT HERE), which shall feed

...16 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased
...in the land, IN THOSE DAYS, saith the LORD, THEY SHALL SAY NO MORE,
...THE ARK OF THE COVENANT OF THE LORD: neither shall it come to mind:
...neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither
...shall that be done any more.
...17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD;
...and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the
...LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the
...imagination of their evil heart.

Now listen and hear closely to what I am about to say:

"WHAT" would cause the "ark of the covenant" sacrifices to become
SUCH a stench to Israel that, "THEY SHALL SAY NO MORE, THE ARK
OF THE COVENANT OF THE LORD: neither shall it come to mind"?
Could it be that during the VERY SERVICE when they offered lambs
blood (on Yom Kippur) before, they remember a time when they were
"LEFT BEHIND" (possibly on that VERY day, Yom Kippur) because
they had IGNORED THE "TRUE SACRIFICIAL LAMB - JESUS"!!!???

Again, what service would that be?

......we know that God Himself closed the door to the ark once
...Noah was inside, so perhaps there is a picture here of that
...great ark of heaven being open for us, until the completion
...of Yom Kippur, “God Himself will close the door”. After the
...Yom Kippur service, the doors of the ark of the covenant are
...closed, signifying the closing of the door of heaven; they
...blow the shofar once, and this is called “The Great Trump”.

Could the "gates" / "doors" of the Ark of the Covenant (opened up
on Rosh Hashanah and then closed on Yom Kippur) be a type of the
"gates" mentioned in Psalm 24?

AND, as for the Laodicean bunch left behind....

I remember as a teenager, my brother, a friend, and I drove
my mother's car to Florida and fished. Then, we loaded up
some fish in the trunk of the car and went to New Orleans
for a few days - ignoring the fish on ice in a HOT summer.
All I remember was that the "smell" had to be "traded in"
with the car IT WAS SOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!

Perhaps the doors and gates are US; that we are to lift up our heads to the Lord and be open doors to Him and the King of Glory will come in to sup with us Rev 3:20; become one with us (John 17 prayer)
