1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Re: Be Ready Against the Third Day

King James 2000 Bible

Exodus 19:10-11
10 And the LORD said to Moses, "Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow. Have them wash their clothes

11 And be ready by the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

15And he said unto the people, Be ready by the third day: come not near your wives.

16And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceedingly loud; so that all the people that were in the camp trembled.

17And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the lower part of the mount.

18And mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke of it ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

19And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.

20And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

Re: Be Ready Against the Third Day

I felt the Lord wanted me to do the research and study on the number 3 because it is relative to the end times we're living in, and to the Holy Trinity; One God in 3 persons! It's a very important number in scripture therefore, it has to be very important to the Lord our God, and we should pay special attention to it.

Please see the study the Lord inspired me to do on the number 3, not that long ago. See and click the url below:

Re: Is the number 3 a clue to the time or day of the Rapture?

THREE: In sacred Scripture the number 3 represents that which is solid, real, substantial, and something in its completeness. This number usually indicates something of importance or significance in God's plan of salvation by identifying an important event in Salvation History. This number operates as a "sign-post" in Scripture study for the reader to "pay attention" to the significance of the next event.
