1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

I sent an email to our sister in Christ, Charity, a couple of days ago to see how she and her family were doing. She responded back today, and she wanted me to let all of you know that she said hi. Here below is her email reply, and I hope you'll be blessed by it. God bless you all!

Hey there Kevin!  Great to hear from you :) Sorry I didn't let ya'll know That I wouldn't be around.  I deactivated my facebook account a few months back, according to the Lord's prompting.  I and the fam are visiting our families in Portland, OR right now.  We've been here since late July and we have a ticket back to Mexico for mid-October, although I'm believing something big (wink;) will happen before that...but we'll just have to wait and see...and trust God!!!  

It's been hard to find times to check email, etc, but it's good for me to concentrate on seeking the Lord, even in the midst of "chaos".  I am doing okay...of course very intensely eager to be with Jesus...and I PRAY it will be this month!  Also a bit discouraged sometimes when others around me talk about the far off future and aren't aware of the IMMINENT coming of our Bridgroom for His bride.

My grandfather went Home to be with Jesus in the middle of the night last night.  It's been a slow process, so we've been preparing for it.  I dreamt that I whispered in his ear that I'm soooo excited for him (a bit jealous, too:) that he's going see Jesus!  He had his eyes closed but gave me a smile.  And then I found out in the morning that he had indeed passed away during the night.

Anyway, thanks for checking in.  I haven't been checking at any sites for a couple months.  Just emailing.  Please send my love to everyone at RFTH!  I hope and pray that we shall all meet very very soon.  Come quickly Lord Jesus!!
