ALL:

As we get ready for "whatever" will occur, there are MANY who
are NOT "getting ready".

As we know, the world is like a "force". It is like the "force"
of a river which can carry one away. It's difficult to fight
that "force". It is especially difficult to fight that force when
"experts" you admire don't fight it but ignore the "force".

In my One Year Bible reading this morning was an interesting
verse:

...2 Corinthians 13:5
...New International Version 1984
...Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith;
...test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus
...is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?

What would cause one NOT to, "at least", notice Elenin?

Again, it would be the "world" not noticing. Scoffing or a
carry over from Harold Camping's "false" scare has caused
some to continue their laughter about ANY warning carrying
a "beware" label. Churches (without so much as "saying" it),
have taken the scoffer's route:

...Isaiah 50
...New International Version 1984
...10 Who among you fears the LORD
...and obeys the word of his servant?
...Let him who walks in the dark,
...who has no light,
...trust in the name of the LORD
...and rely on his God.
...11 But now, all you who light fires
...and provide yourselves with flaming torches,
...GO, WALK IN THE OF THE FIRES ("words")
...AND OF THE TORCHES ("teachings")
...YOU HAVE SET ABLAZE.
...This is what you shall receive from my hand:
...YOU WILL LIE DOWN IN TORMENT.

Believe me, those "scoffing" remarks are like "sparks" and, from
heaven, they show up. EXCUSE ME, only NOW God is letting
those who scoff at His means of ESCAPE (the RAPTURE) have
"THEIR" way: "It 'feels' soooo good to be soooo smart!!!" MANY,
MANY MINISTERS and their followers are now saying!!!

So now, for us "fools" who may be taking some degree of
warning from those Christians who have digested Elenin in
a different light.....

When God destroyed the world the first time, He made NO
SECRET OF "WHY?" TO NOAH:

Take look at these verses about the arrogance of man these
days. From the descriptions of what may happen when this
comet arrives, it sounds like JUDGMENT on this arrogant
bunch of scoffers!!!!! It's interesting that this series of verses
ends with Isaiah 13:13 "AND" that the VERY WORD which
describes the "END TIMES" - "APOSTASY", is the meaning
of number "13":

...Isaiah 13:9-13
...New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)
...9 See, the day of the LORD is coming
...a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger—
...to make the land desolate
...and destroy the sinners within it.
...10 The stars of heaven and their constellations
...will not show their light.
...The rising sun will be darkened
...and the moon will not give its light.
...11 I will punish the world for its evil,
...the wicked for their sins.
...I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty
...and will humble the pride of the ruthless.
...12 I will make man scarcer than pure gold,
...more rare than the gold of Ophir.
...13 Therefore I will make the heavens tremble;
...and the earth will shake from its place
...at the wrath of the LORD Almighty,
...in the day of his burning anger.

The above sounds like the "BEGINNING" of the Tribulation
to me!!!

yes carrying a torch is like saying, the coast is clear, walk this way, follow me.

instead of using the light of God's written word, the Bible, to light the way, people are following the suggestions for a changed society and false gods.
There is NO OTHER NAME under heaven by which mankind can be saved but Jesus the Christ, the Son of the living God. Even so, come Lord Jesus
