1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Raging fire hit Texas & Oklahoma again destroying dozens of homes as residents flee the flame.
Re: Raging fire hit Texas & Oklahoma again destroying dozens of homes as residents flee the flame.

I'm so glad I live in southeastern Oklahoma, where the fires have not spread! What about you, Texas Sue? Are you and your family all right?

Re: Raging fire hit Texas & Oklahoma again destroying dozens of homes as residents flee the flame.

Thanks for asking Kathy. I am glad you are safe. The fires are in Palo Pinto county west of Ft Worth. I live about another 30 miles east of Ft Worth so not in the danger zone. I am so sad for those who have lost their homes and cannot believe how much destruction has overtaken Texas in one short year. I am grieved for these deep wounds on our great state and on the hearts of those who have suffered so much loss. Really, really praying and hoping for this to be our year, our month to go home and be in a place of perfection, safe, and removed from all danger for eternity. Won't that be wonderful.

Thank God, Kathy & Texas Sue, you're not in any danger!

Very sad for those whom are, as many will suffer some kind of loss...property or life..in some cases both.

Let's remember them in our prayers!

Prayerfully,

Valerie
