Israel’s top UN diplomat says Palestinian vote will pass overwhelmingly

Ron Proser, Israel’s top UN diplomat, has issued a gloomy assessment of the upcoming vote on Palestinian statehood. He estimates that more than 130 of the 193 members of the UN will vote in favor, and that most nations that oppose the plan will not have the courage to vote against it but will instead abstain. Proser’s conclusions are drawn from meetings with more than sixty other diplomats and the extensive talks Israel has been conducting to attempt to lessen support for the plan.

Proser wrote, “Only a few countries will vote against the Palestinian initiative.” At a time when the nations of the world are turning against the Chosen People, we must stand with them more than ever. The destinies of countries will be set by their choice to either curse Israel or bless Israel in this vote. There is still time for God to work a miracle, but we must be faithful to do all that we can to oppose this great evil.”

UN approval of the resolution would immediately place Israel in dire economic straits. The Palestinians have already announced their intention to follow the UN vote with appeals to the World Court and other international bodies to punish Israel economically. Israel’s economy is already struggling. When I was there last week, I saw firsthand the social turmoil that has resulted from skyrocketing prices on food, gas, housing, and other necessities.

God's Word promises a curse on any nation that touches Jerusalem. Once before, an American President attempted to divide Jerusalem and surrender the Temple Mount to radical Islam. That president was Bill Clinton. Now President Obama plans to do the same—this time by formally recognizing a Palestine State at the UN in September within days of the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

I do not believe for a second that all the economic and political turmoil America is going through is coincidental. America needs Divine intervention that can only come from God's people standing in the gap like Esther. This national campaign will cost $350,000. I am asking every Jerusalem Prayer Team member to stand up to Jew hatred like Corrie ten Boom and her family did in Holland during the Holocaust.
