1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

Jesus’ Wedding with Church Reflected by God’s wedding with Israel

This is a new study sent to me by Corey. May we soon be caught up to meet our Lord in the air!

Jesus’ Wedding with Church Reflected by God’s wedding with Israel

In the very near future the Lord will catch away his church to heaven. This is the rapture of the church that was revealed through the apostle Paul. When this event takes place, the body of Christ will be translated into bodies in the likeness of angels. We will meet the Lord in the air and be escorted to our heavenly home by the Lord himself. Upon arrival in heaven, a wedding banquet that has been prepared for centuries will finally take place. This wedding ceremony will last 7 years and at the end of the 7 years, the Lord and his bride will come out of the wedding chamber to take part in the wedding supper of the lamb. This 7 year period constitutes as the “bridal week” of the ancient Jewish tradition. The Hebrew tradition calls this period the "the 7 days of Huppah".
Prophetically speaking, the wedding between the Lord Jesus and his bride could easily be called “the 7 years of Huppah”. That is why a period of 7 years in the Hebrew text is referred to as a “week”, more commonly known as a “week of years”. For example, 63 “weeks of years” would be 63 years 7 times over. We can see now that the ancient Jewish 7 day wedding week is prophetic of a 7 year period, which is symbolic of the last 7 years of the age before Jesus ushers in the kingdom of God for 1000 years. The bridegroom and bride would stay in a “prepared place” for 7 days, which is called the “Huppah”. The kingdom of heaven will serve as the wedding Huppah for Jesus and the church for 7 prophetic years.
The coming wedding between Jesus and the church has already been “foreshadowed” in the Old Testament, like any other major New Testament event.  The marriage contract that the children of Israel and God came to is prophetic of the coming bridal attraction in heaven. When God gave Moses and Israel the Ten Commandments, he entered into a marriage covenant with the nation of Israel. In the story of the Exodus, a “wedding banquet” absolutely took place!
As we know, the tradition says that the bridegroom and bride must enter a “Huppah” prepared by the bridegroom. It can also be described as a wedding canopy that covers the bridegroom and bride. Heaven will be the heavenly Huppah for Jesus and his bride. So where was the “wedding canopy” or “Huppah” that covered Israel in her marriage to God? The answer is quiet big. God, the bridegroom at Sinai certainly did prepare a wedding canopy for his bride Israel. It was none other than Mount Sinai itself!
When God commanded Israel to “meet” him on the third day, they gathered to the base of Mt. Sinai, in which Sinai was literally “covering” Israel during their marriage to God!
In the Old Testament God married Israel and in the New Testament Christ marries the church!
Old Testament bridegroom – God
Old Testament bride – Israel
New Testament bridegroom – Jesus
New Testament bride – “spiritual Israel”, the church
Every major prophetic event in the New Testament is a repetitious symbolism to what God has “already accomplished” in the Old Testament for “God declares the end from the beginning”. This pattern is clear in the scriptures and the “exact day” of the week was revealed in Exodus. In Exodus 19, the Lord commands Moses to tell Israel:
“Prepare yourselves “today”, “the morrow”, and on the “third day”…
This is a “3” day countdown in terms of days. The “third day” would be the third day of the week, which is Tuesday!
·        “Today” was Sunday, the first day of the week
·        “To morrow” was Monday, the second day of the week!
·        “Third day” was Tuesday, the third day of the week!
The marriage between God and Israel took place on the third day of the week, Tuesday! They prepared for “Sunday” and “Monday”. The church was born on Pentecost “Sunday” and our wedding also will be on the third day after that, Tuesday! The days of Sunday and Monday then represent the 2000 year church age!!!
So, Moses brought the children of Israel to “meet with God” under the wedding canopy (Sinai) on the third day of the week, Tuesday! This pattern will be followed by Jesus and his bride. Jesus will bring “spiritual Israel”, the church to meet with God under the wedding canopy (heaven) on the third day of the week as well, Tuesday!!!
This JUST SO HAPPENS to be the day the ancient Jewish wedding took place in ancient Israel!!!
The rapture and taking of the church to heaven to celebrate the 7 year “bridal week” will be on a Tuesday for sure in obedience of the prophetic parallel of Exodus 19. We also know that Moses brought Israel under the wedding canopy to meet with God at the sound of “trumpet speaking” as the voice of God. In like manner, the church will be brought to heaven, to the wedding canopy to meet with God at the sound of a “trumpet” and the “voice of the Lord”!
Sinai is known as the “first trump”…
So, when God and Israel met under the wedding canopy, it was the “first trump”! Also, when Jesus and the church meet under the wedding canopy in heaven, it will be at the “last trump”!!
The “last trump” is without a doubt the feast of Trumpets!
Meaning, the rapture of the church MUST be on the feast of Trumpets, on a future TUESDAY!!!
Well friends, you can look it up yourself, the ONLY Trumpets that falls on the “third day” in the next TEN YEARS is this year, 2011!!!!!!!!!
It is time to get out of here!!!

That's great. Thank you so much Kevin & Corey.

Does anybody have a link to a Jewish calendar.

Re: Jesus’ Wedding with Church Reflected by God’s wedding with Israel

I enjoy reading Coreys studies as well. It gives me encouragement. Even though his past studies may have not been totally correct as far as setting dates etc, I want everyone to know this: If we study the Bible like we are instructed to do I do beleive we may know the day and even the hour. It was written in scripture in the Old Testament on when Jesus would present himself to the Jews as their Saviour- They did not watch, they didnt realize it until many years later and those are only the Jews that put their trust in Jesus.

What I do want to say when I read this post a several days ago is this: I had a dream about a year ago and a huge earthquake or something supernatural shook me to jumping off a 2 story or 3 story building at work where I was raptured in the mid air by my guardian angel.

This place is my current work- I am not making this up! I had this dream 3 months before I even knew of this building!
Anyway when I read it was on a Tuesday (Possible rapture at 10:30am I thought to myself that cant be correct because I work Monday and Tuesday late nights which I dont go into work until 11am. Knowing I believe the rapture happenes while I am at work I put Coreys study in the back of me head......until a couple days ago

We are going to a new schedule and only working one late night! wooowhoo!! anyway my late night is on Thursday now starting the 3rd week in September!

Guess what week that is? I hope!

Re: Jesus’ Wedding with Church Reflected by God’s wedding with Israel

So, here is a question...

Thanks for this study, ALL PRAISE TO JESUS!!!

Tuesday or Third Day is very compelling and feel like the Holy Spirit has been leading my understanding in this direction before reading this post. A friend who has had 3 Rapture dreams speaks of "Third Day" in her writings, she has had many visitations of the LORD.

My question is when is GOD's timing for Yom Teruah, please see below...

Let's look at the possibilities:

The "allusion" of Feast of Trumpets to the Rapture, it is almost indisputable.

The names given to it Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets/Rosh Hashannah)

"The Day of Our Concealment", Isaiah 26:17-21

"The LAST Trump" , 1 Corinthians 15:52

"The Feast that No Man Knows the Day or the Hour" , Matthew 24:36

Other Names:

Yom Teruah (Day of Awakening Blast)

Yom HaDin (Day of Judgement)

HaMelech (Coronation of the Messiah)

Yom HaZikaron (Day of Remembrance)

Opening of the Gates (Day when Heaven's Gates are Opened for the Home Taking)

Kiddushin/Nisu'im (The Wedding Ceremony)

The Tekia HaGedolah (The Last Trump)

So we see a recap of many of the names of this Appointed Feast

If OUR FATHER has purposely given us these Hebrew idioms, so that the HOLY SPIRIT would give us clues then we have two more options in 2011 for this to happen for your discernment.

1) The next new moon is Yom Teruah on Aug. 30 and 31st according to the Creation Calendar or,

**Fair use for educational and informational purposes**

http://www.torahcalendar.com.

This is a calendar used "As in the days of Noah." COMET HONDA OR YU 55 (Yeshua 55?) is on our doorstep.

2) The new moon after that during world recognized Feast of Trumpets on the Hebrew Calendar Sept. 28-29 windown. or Comet Elenin is here... Nin-e blasts of Ele-ven, then the LAST TRUMP.

I really am interested in the August dates for a couple of reasons.

1) Fulfills Tuesday most appropriate Hebrew day for a wedding or Third Day principle

2) Comes as more of a "snare upon the whole world." "Eating, drinking, marrying, etc. Fits more like Think about it, by Sept. 20th, you would have to be a nincompoop not to know what is happening at that point. Although OUR FATHER is merciful and that might be more likely to be Sept. to give more a chance to wake up...More events are coming together it seems at this particular time.

IRREGARDLESS, The Feast of Trumpets is an allusion to the rapture and may only be the procedure in which it happens, the Tribulation could be what Feast of Trumpets starts and we are out of here any day, or it could be fulfilled with the other Feast at the end of the Trib and has nothing to do with the Church and her catching away.

COME QUICKLY LORD JESUS! WHATEVER DAY OR HOUR, IT IS YOUR PERFECT WILL AND NOT OURS. WE ARE JUST AN EXCITED BRIDE AND ANY EXCITED BRIDE WOULD BE THINKING AND PONDERING WHEN... AMEN?!
