CASTING DOWN OF THE DRAGON TO THE EARTH

As it is written in the Book of Revelation, the archangel Michael along with his fellow angels will make war against the dragon and the dragon’s angels and the result will be that the dragon and his angels will be cast down to the earth.



“And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. Every year this event is portrayed in the evening and early morning sky every night from late September to mid November.



The top or first chart below shows the constellation Draco as seen from Jerusalem looking toward the north in the early evening sky about 30 minutes after sunset. Here the dragon is seen high in the sky.

Throughout the evening, the head of Draco turns toward the horizon of the earth and heads downward until it reaches to dips below the horizon about 30 minutes before sunrise. This is seen in the second chart.



This is an awesome portrayal of the dragon being cast down to the earth. This occurs during the Fall Feasts when they start in late September or early October as they did this year. Perhaps this is the time of the year or season that this event will actually happen. During the Spring Feasts, the dragon is seen rising into the heavens in the night sky, instead of being cast down.
