ALL:

This morning's One Year Bible covers the reign of Asa
and is from 2 Chronicles 14:1 - 16:4. Asa started off
good but then sort of forgot the Lord.

It seems to me that the churches today - especially in
America - do NOT want to "hear" of any past judgments
or wrongs but "ONLY LET US HEAR GOOD STUFF!" They don't
want "REAL" warnings. At the END of Asa's reign, when
Hanani, the seer brought him a message from God, he only
turned angry, threw him in prison and brutalized some
of the people.

I believe Asa was "spoiled" like some of these "rich"
churches today who, DEEP in their hearts say, "Just heap
on us good news and keep telling us 'good things'!!!"

Most ALL of my family think I'm "OFF" about prophecy.
They do NOT realize that these things are coming to
pass are REAL!!! They mirror the churches' thinking
that "We'll put Republicans back in office and take
back the country!!!" They continue to "occupy themselves"
with these thoughts. They ENJOY "busying themselves"
with these thoughts. They DO NOT ENJOY "hearing that
"JUDGMENT IS UPON US"!!!!!!!! "IT CAN'T BE!!!!!!!",
they think!!!

They think Obama is just some simple "mistake" which can
be remidied by the poles and some other Republican "hero"
who can be almost "worshiped" to "keep things going" just
like the Bushes!!! NOOOOOOOO DISCERNMENT NECESSARY!!!!!!

I say,

..."HAVE A NICE DAY!!!!!!!

...Since you will NOT STOP 'BUSYING YOURSELVES', God will
...soon 'TURN OFF' the pleasant things so you 'WILL HAVE
...TO NOTICE'!!!!!!!!"

REALITY TV IS THIS:

...he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

...worship God: for THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT
...OF PROPHECY.

The churches are just "using up" (like the politicians
have for years) the goodness of God's blessings on our
nation WITHOUT taking into account ANY REAL WARNINGS OR
DISCERNMENT!!! Again, JUST LIKE ASA, they only want to
make their "deals" with the world and the "imaginations"
of their own minds!!!

...2 Asa then took the silver and gold out of the treasuries

...there be a treaty between me and you,” he said, “as there

Asa’s Last Years
1 In the thirty-sixth year of Asa’s reign Baasha king of Israel went up against Judah and fortified Ramah to prevent anyone from leaving or entering the territory of Asa king of Judah.
2 Asa then took the silver and gold out of the treasuries of the LORD’s temple and of his own palace and sent it to Ben-Hadad king of Aram, who was ruling in Damascus. 3 “Let there be a treaty between me and you,” he said, “as there was between my father and your father. See, I am sending you silver and gold. Now break your treaty with Baasha king of Israel so he will withdraw from me.”

4 Ben-Hadad agreed with King Asa and sent the commanders of his forces against the towns of Israel. They conquered Ijon, Dan, Abel Maim and all the store cities of Naphtali. 5 When Baasha heard this, he stopped building Ramah and abandoned his work. 6 Then King Asa brought all the men of Judah, and they carried away from Ramah the stones and timber Baasha had been using. With them he built up Geba and Mizpah.

7 At that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah and said to him: “Because you relied on the king of Aram and not on the LORD your God, the army of the king of Aram has escaped from your hand. 8 Were not the Cu****es and Libyans a mighty army with great numbers of chariots and horsemen? Yet when you relied on the LORD, he delivered them into your hand. 9 For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war.”

10 Asa was angry with the seer because of this; he was so enraged that he put him in prison. At the same time Asa brutally oppressed some of the people.

To sum up.......

I'm "HOPING AND BELIEVING" that it is time to
"GET OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!"

So we have one more reason to strengthen the belief that Pentecost
is the best candidate for the pretrib rapture of the Church.


For those who haven’t been reading the posts on Five Doves, we’re
talking about the correct season for the Feast of Pentecost, which
we have reasons to believe that takes place between the 28th of Tammuz
and the 1st of Av. (sometime between July 30th and / Aug. 1st, in the
case of 2011).

Paul describes Christ’s death and resurrection as the type for the
rapture in 1 Cor. 15:23 “But every man in his own order; Christ the
firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.” There
are six reasons in the above article to consider as to why the Feast
of Pentecost applies to the Church Age:

1. it stands parenthetically between Passover and Tabernacles,
just like the Church,
2. it is not related to any historical event in Jewish history,
3. it is named for a time, rather than an event,
4. it is a mystery in Jewish literature,
5. it relates to the giving of the Law on the 50th day at Sinai,
6. it relates to book of Ruth and salvation for Gentiles
(Eph. 2:11-13, Ruth 2:20)

Pentecost is the beginning of the wheat harvest in Israel fullfilled in Acts-2.

I found it interesting that many of the following prophecies were
fulfilled during what the Rabbi’s refer to as the “Three Weeks” from
the 17th of Tammuz until the 9th of Av. That is when the destruction
of both temples in Jerusalem occured. I know the summer fruit harvest
was associated with Tu B’Av the 15th of Av, and many of the prophecies
were fulfilled prior to that date. What is interesting is the number
of prophecies that are yet to be fulfilled i.e. Dan 2:34, Luke 21:29,
Luke 3:17, that use the same terms as the prophecies that were fulfilled.
It’s really quite amazing if you give some thought to it.
