1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing

ALL:

The villa where I live has a pier that runs out about
130 yards and then has a place for boats to tie up.

This morning, before daylight, I went out to see the
almost full, orange moon go down behind a bank of
clouds on the horizon and noticed that it was going
down EXACTLY over the bridge that connects this island
to the mainland. It was a "picture" of the times and
maybe a "connection" to what is "REAL" or what is only
a fading "image".

The "dangerous" orange colored moon (MUCH like a blood
red moon) behind a cloudy bank of clouds going "DOWN"
as people go "to and fro" about their lives.

SOOO MANY PEOPLE, and MANY just thinking about their
own lives and how "important" they are to be doing
what they're doing and NEVER giving a thought about
the "times".

...Matthew 24
...37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the
...coming of the Son of man be.
...38 For as in the days that were before the flood
...they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving
...in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into
...the ark,
...39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all
...away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
...40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be
...taken, and the other left.
...41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one
...shall be taken, and the other left.
...42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your
...Lord doth come.

There was a song "inside" my heart this morning (below)
about the "times", too, and, to me, it's AMAZING that
it "IS" a song about a "MARRIAGE" (Matthew 24:38) that
will NOT HAPPEN!!!

Some of you may not know that Glen Campbell has just
recently told the world that he has Alzheimer's Disease.

This is my favorite song of his. It is VERY simple
and direct and I thought of ALL the churches who tell
God that they love Him but NEVER consider the "times".
They hardly EVER mention about Jesus' "marriage" or
about being "EXCITED" that it's close because of signs!!!
See "The Parable of the Wedding Banquet" below the song.

"BLESSINGS!!!"

"COME, LORD JESUS!!!"

Oh, you tell me that you love me
Yes, you tell me that you care
That tomorrow we'll be married
But tomorrow never there

Many weeks now have I waited
Many long nights have I cried
Just to see that happy morning, happy morning
When I'd have you right by my side

But tomorrow it never, never comes
No, no, no tomorrow ain't never ever gonna come
Now you tell me you tell me you love me
And you say that you want me
But tomorrow never comes

Matthew 22
The Parable of the Wedding Banquet
1 Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: 2 “The kingdom of
heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son.
3 He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet
to tell them to come, but they refused to come.

4 “Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have
been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened
cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the
wedding banquet.’

5 “But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another
to his business. 6 The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and
killed them. 7 The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed
those murderers and burned their city.

8 “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but
those I invited did not deserve to come. 9 So go to the street
corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ 10 So the servants
went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find,
the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.

11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there
who was not wearing wedding clothes. 12 He asked, ‘How did you get in
here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless.

13 “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and
throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping
and gnashing of teeth.’

14 “For many are invited, but few are chosen.”
