5 Minutes to Armageddon

By the way, Armageddon comes at the end of the 7 years right? I guess it's just a "generic" term people use to refer to WWIII

Hal Lindsey calls it the War of Armageddon, which will span the second half of the Tribulation and end in the Battle of Armageddon. Needless to say, that will be the battle to end all battles! =) (And the war to end all wars, which World War I was not.)

Are you saying that Lindsey says that Armageddon lasts 3 1/2 years? Shows you how often I study the subject.
Anyway, it's definitely more than 5 minutes away. :-)

The war, yes. The battle itself will not take place till near the end of the Tribulation, and then it'll end with Jesus' return to earth.

So the War of Armageddon is at least 3-and-one-half years away from now--maybe later than that--depending on how soon we're Raptured and how long the interval will be between the Rapture and the confirmation of the peace treaty, which will officially start the Tribulation.
