1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

I just watched it live outside. It looked just like another launch, but it's the last shuttle launch I'll ever see. I pray too that we will be raptured sometime during Atlantis's 12 day mission.

Kevin, I was watching some of the people on the ground that were watching the take off....were you by chance wearing a red shirt LOL..I thought I saw a young man that looked like the picture you posted.

I wasn't quite as close as those who were on camera. I walked out of the building I work in to watch the launch. I'm actually wearing a blue shirt today. I'm glad all of you were able to watch the launch through this link Grace provided.

I'm grateful, to have had a chance to watch the launch right from the very beginning. Wow, just imagine, when we get to Heaven we'll be able to explore God's creation throughout Space, without a shuttle...Amazing!!

Glad you got to watch it from outside!

Hopefully before the shuttle returns, we will experience our own ride through space, via the Rapture!

I'm going to do me some exploring when that time comes. Since there's a whole big universe to explore, I reckon there'll be time enough for that. =)
