1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

Sister In Christ, Did You Get Hit With the Dust Storm Too?

Sister In Christ, in an article I posted on Willie's thread about the big dust storm in Phoenix, one poster said that they had some of it in Havasu also. Did you have any fallout from this dust storm at your home? I know you had mentioned before that you lived near Lake Havasu in Arizona. Hope all is well.

Hi T/Sue!

Nope, we (my nephew & his family) didn't get hit by any dust storms out here where we live. We're closer to our Lake Havasu, for which our town shares its name with...which is to the north end of town.

We did, however, have a couple windy lightning & rain storms though. Due to the fact that we've entered our monsoon season. They tend to cool the triple digit temps down, which is a major plus.

Therefore, I'm A-OK.

You're most welcome, T/Sue.

Everytime I see lightning lighting up the night sky, I automatically make a grab for my flashlight, then I turn off my TV & lights, and retire early to bed. I also take my flashlight to bed with me, laying it next to my pillow...for fear that we'll have a power outtage. I hate it when something like that happens.

But as of late, I call out Jesus' name until the storm passes b/c I know that He won't let anything like I mentioned above happen.

Do you all do that too?
