1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

Wow, David, when will these Major Quakes ever end in New Zealand? Perhaps not until the Lord comes for His own at the Rapture? Praying for you and yours, as the people of New Zealand, have certain had their share of Major Quakes, and destruction!

David, I looked on the USGS website and they are posting a quake there vastly undersized from what your newspaper locally is showing. Here is what they have:

MAP 5.3 2011/07/05 03:36:25 -38.597 175.688 161.3 NORTH ISLAND OF NEW ZEALAND

More and more I am wondering why the USGS is either not showing quakes at all (Yellowstone area) or showing them at much smaller size than they actually were. This is a bit unsettling. I trust what your paper said as it is local and right where it happened. Imagine showing a 6.5 as 5.3. Way off and for what purpose?

Was it in/or near Christchurch, NZ??? I'm asking, b/c they've had more than their share of quakes.

I was watching FoxNews this afternoon, when they got news that there was a 7.8 EQ just N/E of Auckland, NZ...which triggered a tsunami. But the magnitude of the quake was downgraded to 6.5, and the tsunami threat was cancelled.

I learned the latter on the Weather Channel. So, go figure. Eh!?
