1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Gaza Flotilla, Gary Stearman - update speaks of "hiding" & "Gaza" (Zephaniah 2)

VERY IMPORTANT!!!

Verses 1-3 describe RAPTURE - "hiding"
Verses 4-7 describe the terrorists & Gaza

Gary says this is a "LATER DAY PROPHECY" or
a "DAY OF THE LORD PROPHECY"!!! (4:40 - 7:00)

Zephaniah 2 (KJV)

1 Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together,
O nation not desired;
2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass
as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD
come upon you, before the day of the LORD's anger
come upon you.
3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which
have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek
meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of
the LORD's anger.

4 For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation:
they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron
shall be rooted up.
5 Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation
of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you;
O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even
destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.
6 And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages
for shepherds, and folds for flocks.
7 And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house
of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of
Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the
LORD their God shall visit them, and turn away their
captivity.


Zephaniah 2 (NIV)

1 Gather together, gather yourselves together,
you shameful nation,
2 before the decree takes effect
and that day passes like windblown chaff,
before the LORD’s fierce anger
comes upon you,
before the day of the LORD’s wrath
comes upon you.
3 Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land,
you who do what he commands.
Seek righteousness, seek humility;
perhaps you will be sheltered
on the day of the LORD’s anger.

4 Gaza will be abandoned
and Ashkelon left in ruins.
At midday Ashdod will be emptied
and Ekron uprooted.
5 Woe to you who live by the sea,
you Kerethite people;
the word of the LORD is against you,
Canaan, land of the Philistines.
He says, “I will destroy you,
and none will be left.”
6 The land by the sea will become pastures
having wells for shepherds
and pens for flocks.
7 That land will belong
to the remnant of the people of Judah;
there they will find pasture.
In the evening they will lie down
in the houses of Ashkelon.
The LORD their God will care for them;
he will restore their fortunes.
