2011 is on target to record the largest number of earthquakes in a single year for at least 12 years.

Research by Irish Weather Online, using data from the US Geological Survey (USGS), has found that earthquake activity (5.0-9.9 magnitude) from 01 January to 19 June 2011 is already exceeding the total annual seismic activity for the years 2001, 2002 and 2003. 2011’s total number of recorded earthquakes is also expected to exceed the most seismically active year of the past 12 years, 2007.

A total of 1,445 earthquakes, ranging in magnitude from 5.0 to 9.9, have been recorded in the year up to 19 June. The total number of earthquakes recorded globally for the entire of 2007 was 2,270.

Zoe thanks for putting up the chart for Europe as USGS doesn't list those. I was just listening to a video interview with Stan Deyo and he was talking about how the USGS group was threatened by the gov and is not allowed to show the seismic activity going on around Yellowstone. So knowing that it is hard to feel that they are giving a true picture of events. Of course the european monitor group could be also micro-managed.

I noticed that there are a lot of small quakes going on in Turkey. They have a history of being on the shaky side seismically speaking. Wondering if they are headed for a major one soon, especially after dumping Israel as an ally and lining themselves up with Iran and Russia.

Overall, there are so many earthquakes now and so scattered geographically (in divers places) that it looks just like what Jesus said it would be just before His coming. HOPE IT IS TODAY!!!!

6/22/2011 -- Global Earthquake update and overview --

Everyone who opens this thread should click on the link (blue) at the bottom of Calvin's post and listen to Dutchsinse's update on what is happening with earthquakes around the world. This is from yesterday - June 22nd so very current. He also states toward the end of the video that many more 6. and above quakes are in the near future - quakes definitely ramping up! From what he is saying on this video it looks like things are building toward the worldwide earthquake of the rapture!

There was someone else who had a thread on here just yesterday (forgive me for not remembering the name) about huge cracks appearing all over the globe in different places just in a matter of days. One person said this is happening due to a strain on the earth's orbit and the ground is literally coming apart at the seams. Not good. But it shows how close we must be to our trip home. That is good news.

Calvin posted the link to this but I thought I would go ahead and put the embedded link up. The guy on the video (dated 6-22, yesterday) said there would be an increase in large quakes. Today, one day later a 7.4. He really has a handle on what is happening with all the seismic motion going on in the world.
