1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Reverend Wilkerson Laid To Rest ~ Live Memorial Service May 14th

Times Square Church has confirmed that a memorial service will be held in New York City on May 14 at 2 p.m. ET to give members of the church and the public the chance to pay their respects.

The service will be streamed live worldwide via the church's website.

A simultaneous translation of the service will be available in 10 different languages via conference call lines, details of which will also be posted on the church's live stream page.

Anticipating a crowd of thousands during the memorial service, Conlon chose to lead his congregation in their own private time of mourning on Sunday.

“It's our time to mourn and to celebrate the life of our beloved founding pastor, David Wilkerson,” the senior pastor said. “By May 14, cameras and the eyes of the world will be on this church. People will be coming from all over the world.”

Allelujah thanks so much for the update. What a welcome he must have had in heaven! So many souls saved and waiting for him on that side where life truly begins.

The other day I was thinking of the three men of God who passed away within a month of each other. There is J.R. Church, passed away on March 22nd, Rev. Fred Stone, father of Perry Stone passed soon after and then David Wilkerson on April 27th. This is what occurred to me:

1. J.R. Church - representing the end of the church age.
2. Fred Stone - represents us, the "living stones" that make up the temple of God soon to be caught up and out of this world.
3. David Wilkerson - reminds me of King David of Israel of the tribe of Judah. Sign that God is soon to turn His attention back to the Jewish people after we, the living stones - the church, is removed.

I also noticed that it will be on the same day as Israel's 63rd anniversary as a nation. Can't wait to meet Dave Wilkerson, and all of the other men of God in heaven soon.
