I have never hunted morels but am starting this year. What type of land would you look for to start? Would they still be around at this time near Red Wing....by the river or up on the bluffs?
red wing is good. any hard wood forest with deed elms. i am waiting for the rain to hit and the shrooms well be poppimg and illbe out for the last time this year. you can find shroom into june.
