Yes , I believe you for sure. Only once about 30 years ago , I remember picking them after a quick snow in April. Unlike last year there was not a frost which ruined a perfectly good season. I journeyed to my favorite spot and picked 2 gallons. Then the freeze hit. 10 days later I returned to the same spot, finding only a couple that I missed. They were is sad shape.

We go hunting around Nevada, MO, do you know if they
are finding them around there yet? Haven't been watching the weather too awfully well so don't know if it has warmed up enough up there yet.
