anyone have any pointers for me to try out cuz it's been 7 years!! since i've actually found my own morels. I'm tired of paying $25+ every year I come up empty-handed & I KNOW THEYRE OUT THERE NOW. I used to find them all the time so I figure Its some kind of hex or bad luck or stupidity--I live in Northern IN near Notre Dame University. Any suggestions?
I live in central IN-so now is the time you should really be finding them in your area-maybe try a large park or lake area-with lots of elms,sycamores and poplars? Our season was odd due the early warm-then the freeze-didn't find nearly as many-good luck to you
