Hi to all.
I went out and found 1 thumb size grey morel about 1-1/2 weeks ago, 1 day before the temperatures dropped.
Some folks have been having good finds, judging by the postings & pictures. Congratulations!
I have been to three of my regular producing yearly spots frequently, and haven't had any luck. The cooler weather to my opinion, will just slow them down. As long as we keep getting these nice rains and continued moisture, It should really pan out soon, once the temperature go back up. Continued good luck to all.
Drop an e-mail if interested in hooking up and checking out some new spots as well as old. I have approx.25 places to check and will never make it to them all.
Anyone game in getting together to hunt for shiitakes, chanterelles and other edible 'roons later in the summer and fall.
Peace to all, be cool!
