you'd be well served to do a 'google' search on the Gyromitra family of mushrooms, which sounds like what those are (gyromitra esculenta?). they contain MMH, a volatile poison, in varying amounts. it can build up in your system enough to cause an acute dangerous reaction later on after years of consuming them with no ill effects.
