I suppose it is too late for Morel hunting here. I went out and looked but I think it has just been too dry, now that we have had some rain, I thought maybe they would start popping up. Any suggestions? Is it worth still looking or would I just be taking a walk in the woods?
I'm not sure about OK, but it has been cool enough here that with some more rain the "pop" should continue. They will be harder to find, though because of the height of the undergrowth. Usually, three straight days over 80 degrees spells the end.
Nothing wrong with a nice walk in the woods anyway!
