Look around dead or dieing elms. If you don't have elms, look around other dead trees.
Also, you can plant your own. Grind up some elm and mix it with the ground. Then dry some morels on a piece of paper towel out of the wind. Youll see yellow around the dry morel. Thats the spores. Cut the paper in tiny piecs and "plant" them where the buried elm is.
