I went to a new spot yesterday and only found two false morels. I only had an hour to look. I'm going to hit it hard this weekend! Does anyone know if false morles indicate a good spot or are they just sparatic?

Last year I found 5 pounds and probably half were false. This year my "false" spot is producing again. But I am not finding the same amount.
