JUST MOVED HERE (OWENSVILLE), I AM 15 MINUTES FROM MT.CARMEL,IL. I DO NOT KNOW ANYONE IN THE AREA WHO HAS WOODS, ANY SUGGESTIONS WHERE TO HUNT? I GOT THE FEVER AND I "NEED" TO GET IN THE WOODS!!! PLEASE HELP!?!
I live in Haubstadt. You live very close to New Harmony State Park. I am going there on Tues, never been before. Northwest of here (Patoka, Pike County) has alot of public land that is very good and it is where I do most of my hunting. Good luck!
Thanks Aaron, I also heard of a place called Beall Park that's in Mt.Carmel. I am going to take some friends there on Sunday, they've moved here from Chicago and have never even seen a mushroom! Hopefully we will find something with the heavy storms we had last night it should be moist enough! Let me know if you found anything at New Harmony, krystle
