Hi all. Anyone find any in the thumb area? When do I start looking? How do you think the weird winter weather has affected the crop this year? Good or bad?
I live in southwest michigan (kalamazoo to be exact)
and I check the site michiganmorels.com The other day I saw several comments from someone in caro which is in the thumb. I haven't been out yet, but as soon as we get close to the 60's and 70's this week I will be out there! Good luck this season!
Heya, I also live in Kalamazoo, Michigan, but I am not from this area and have not a clue where a good place to mushroom hunt is. Is there some state land or any public place I could go to take a look? Im not a fan of trespassing, but when a man gets mushroom hunting, he will do almost anything :) Thank you very much for any help you can give me.
