All geared up to harvest the elusive Morchella Esculenta, Found the first here last year on 03/24/04. Seems a little dryer and a little cooler than it was at this time last year, Have a lot of records on temps and precipitation for the last few years, Looks like we might get some rain today (03/21/05). Normally have found a few reds by now, but not yet, not really worried a bout the reds too much though. Ate the last of the "saved" Morels from last year yesterday. Have a nice yard in town that
produces the earliest, real easy to do a drive by there and check. Happy Hunting to all.
