I search every year in and around Mammoth Cave National Park and have found that they love to school in the numerous sink holes in the area. Of coarse, they also inhabit the ridges and tend to swim the drains that connect. I, also, try to allow for their subteranean arborious diets(and a possible appetite for other roots such as those of briers). That being said, I think it's still a touch early here, even with the warm days(cool nights? cool rain? biological clock?).
