Seems that folks aren't having success much most places....is it due to the weather? I have been hunting for a short time today, but I am a Novice and am having a hard time anyway finding any.....would be comforting to know that I am not finding them because of the
weather and NOT that I am doing something....or Not doing something to find them!

Cindy here, again...was in Quincy, Il today....searched a bit while there, then searched a couple of places on the 2 1/2 hour drive home; actually spoke with a guy mushroom hunting just off of the main road (in a County south of Peoria Co.) who told me that he had been hunting awhile today and found nothing, even in his usually reliable spots that produced last year that he was checking. Said lack of them might be the coolness lately. We are supposed to have a Frost Advisory around here. Hope it warms up in the next few days.
