Just found my first morel of the season. It was on the south side of a dying elm in the woods behind my house. Just a small little grey morel about 2 inches tall. I searched the area around the tree for more but that was all I found. Plan on checking each day this week if the temps stay up. I'm out in the St. Louis County area.
