ON 4/8 TOOK A BUDDY OUT FOR FIRST TRIP OF YEAR. PICKED 57 GREYS ALL ABOUT 1-2 INCHES. LEFT DOZEN OR SO SMALL3/8-1/2 INCHERS. THEY WERE AWESOME WITH DINNER LAST NITE!!! FINDING WAY HIGH ON RIDGE TOPS IN RUNOFFS FROM RIDGES IN SMALL1-2 INCH ELMS. GOT SOME PICS BUT DONT KNOW HOW TO DOWNLOAD FROM PHONE WILL HAVE TO GET MY KIDS TO HELP ME OUT!!AINT TECHNOLOGY GRAND. CENTRAL ILLINOIS IS LOOKING GOOD THIS YEAR

Are you in southern Illinois? I have an unconfirmed report of very small greys from the Peoria area; seems early, but we DID have a couple of days in the 80's that may have kick-started things.
At any rate, I will be do ing some "walking around" this weekend!

I found blacks, grays and snake heads on 4/10/10. most of them were around ash trees. Do you think they will all come at one time. I live in Brookville, Indiana.

NOT REALLY SEASON JUST STARTING TYPICAL PATTERN FROM SHROOMS AND FROM HUNTERS COULD ALWAYS USE SOME RAIN WINDS STARTING TO DRY THINGS OUT WHERE I HUNT
