I like to take this opportunity to wish all members of Local 157 & all other U.B.C. members & family a Happy Holiday & a healty New Year. The union meeting of 12-16-02 had a good tu rn out considering the transit strike warning looming & cold weather.It was a good gesture on the Local's be half to donate gifts to the unfortunate kids out there on the holidays & raffing off $100.00 to members who are not working.I am proud to be a member of Local#157, and the caring & considerate executive board who thinks of their members. Keep up the good work.
