It's that time of year again. July and it's pouring down with rain! During our school years we were dragged off to exotic places such as the Isle of Man by our parents to enjoy a couple of weeks holiday. For me it did seem like being in a foreign country! They had their own currency, their own language, strange trains and strange food (kippers for breakfast instead of my usual cornflakes and toast). I never did go on a proper foreign holiday until I left PGS. Looking back now the 6 weeks school holidays seemed to go on forever and it was always such a shock having to go back to school in September.
As for the Isle of Man I've only ever been back once as an adult and really enjoyed it as all those old memories came flooding back.
