John McAloney

Would anyone know the current address of John McAloney MC and his wife Joan. I last saw them in Townsville in 1971.

was he the skip of assault pioneers in 1966?

If he is the one ,well he died many years ago from a heart attack whilst playing squash.

John McAloney MC sadly passed away in 1991 in Canberra whilst refereeing a saturday morning junior rugby union match. I was a pall bearer at his miltary funeral. A magnificent tiger and member of the corps of infantry. I kept in touch with Joan for some time and know that she is getting on with life after this sad loss.
