Thanks for another list, the first from Spain this year. Heineken was included last year, but it is obviously similar to the British Carlings site that was deemed ineligible a few days ago, and I would therefore like to discuss if this should be included. Is Heineken.se an important critics' source for music in Spain?

It is true that the website is sponsored by a beer brand but the website is excellent. It is the same as a sponsor of one of the most important festivals of music: Benicassim International Festival.
The partners, whose votes are prepared with lists, are not just fans or people who spend the day drinking beer (I suppose), but critics of the best Spanish radio station in terms of non-commercial music (Radio3); major newspapers ( Levante, El Mundo, Faro de Vigo), collaborators of Rockdelux, Mondosonoro, Rolling Stone and Pitchfork, and so on.

For me there is no doubt: this list is true, and worth a lot.

Honorio AM'ers Spanish and others could give their opinion.

No problem with this list at all, it’s a critics poll from the votes of 16 well-known and prestigious Spanish critics as Eduardo Guillot or Julio Ruiz. If you click on “colaboradores” on Heineken special 2008 page you can see the complete list of voters. By the way, it’s an excellently designed page, you can even listen to the songs and see the videos. And, moreover, if Otis is inviting to some beers I’ll be glad to join.
