This is list is bad. What a terrible year!

Well this wasn't a great year for music, but more importantly, Blender is just a terrible magazine.

This wasn't that bad of a year for music, Blender just missed most of the good stuff. Seriously, what a crappy list.

Just like everywhere, there was lots of great music this year. You just have to look for it.

I make it a point to listen to everything I read of in the many magazines I purchase on a weekly basis. This was a crappy year compared to last year. I may have listened to approximately 350 albums. I only find a handful that I can truely appreciate.

Maybe try listening to a few albums more than once or twice.

it's still not as bad a year as 05. Block Party @ #5 alone pretty much sums up how bad it was.

oh, i can't believe this, Metallica "Death Magnetic" 4th?

i'm a true headbanger, and i can say that this isn't the best metal album of the year, in my opinion "Death Magnetic" is a bad album. In my opinion the best metal album of the year so far is: Ayreon - 01011001. This is not very heavy, maybe you, from the forum, would like it, full of great melodies and some of the best metal singer nowadays.
